Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 6/3/2026
DriverSourceHub is committed to digital accessibility for people of all abilities. This statement describes the accessibility standard we follow, the measures we take to support it, and how to contact us if something on this website does not work for you.
Our Commitment
DriverSourceHub is committed to ensuring that the content we publish is usable by the widest possible audience, regardless of ability or assistive technology. Web accessibility benefits everyone — users with permanent disabilities, users with temporary impairments, users in low-bandwidth environments, and users on older devices. We treat accessibility as a baseline quality requirement rather than an optional add-on. This commitment applies to every page we publish, every interactive element, and every piece of media we create ourselves. It does not apply to third-party content or to external sites we link to for reference.
Conformance Standard
DriverSourceHub targets the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1, conformance Level AA. Version 2.1 of these guidelines is published by the World Wide Web Consortium and is the most widely adopted technical baseline for inclusive web content. Level AA is treated by the US Department of Justice as the de facto baseline for compliance with Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act as applied to commercial websites. We do not currently claim conformance with Level AAA, although several AAA success criteria are met as a side effect of our overall design, such as high color contrast, plain-language editorial style, and predictable navigation.
Measures We Take
The site is built with the following practices:
- Semantic page markup with proper heading hierarchy and landmark elements so assistive technologies can interpret page structure.
- Keyboard operability so all interactive controls can be reached and activated by keyboard with no keyboard traps.
- Visible focus indicators so keyboard users always know where they are.
- Descriptive alternative text for meaningful images and empty alt attributes for decorative images.
- Sufficient color contrast where body text meets at least the 4.5:1 ratio and large text at least 3:1.
- Resizable text using relative font units, allowing zoom up to 200% without loss of content.
- Reduced-motion respect, honoring the user’s prefers-reduced-motion setting.
- Plain-language style, with articles written in clear, jargon-light prose.
Accessibility Features
Visitors can rely on:
- Skip-to-content support through the heading and landmark structure of every page.
- Aria-labelled regions for the header, navigation, breadcrumb, and footer.
- Predictable navigation that is identical on every page.
- A responsive layout that adapts to phones, tablets, and desktops without horizontal scrolling.
Known Limitations
Despite our best efforts, some limitations may remain:
- Older articles: a small number of older articles may use longer paragraphs than our current editorial standard, and we are progressively rewriting these.
- Image alternative text: some illustrative images may carry shorter alt text than ideal, and we audit these as part of our rewrite cycle.
- Embedded third-party widgets: if a page embeds a third-party widget, we cannot guarantee its accessibility and will mark such embeds clearly.
Third-Party Content
This statement applies to content DriverSourceHub publishes directly. It does not apply to:
- External websites we link to for reference, such as manufacturer support pages.
- Third-party services that may be loaded on the site, such as analytics or advertising scripts.
- User-generated content (the site does not currently accept it).
Self-Assessment Approach
This statement is based on a self-assessment carried out by the DriverSourceHub editorial team, supported by automated accessibility tooling and manual testing with screen readers and keyboard-only navigation. We have not yet commissioned a formal third-party audit; one is on our roadmap. When completed, this statement will be updated with the audit date.
How to Report an Issue
If you encounter an accessibility barrier, please contact us and include:
- The URL of the affected page.
- A short description of the barrier.
- The device and browser you were using.
- The assistive technology in use, if any, such as screen reader name and version.
We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within five business days and to include a target fix date. Critical barriers are prioritized over cosmetic ones. Email: support@driversourcehub.com with the subject “Accessibility Inquiry”.
Formal Enforcement
If you are not satisfied with our response and you believe the site is in breach of accessibility law in your jurisdiction, you have the right to file a complaint with the relevant regulator. In the United States, the US Department of Justice enforces Title III of the ADA. We would, however, much prefer to address any concern directly first — please contact us before pursuing formal channels so we have a fair opportunity to fix the issue.
Updates to This Statement
We may update this Accessibility Statement from time to time to reflect improvements to the site, changes in technology, or changes in applicable law.
